Alexandria, VA - Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) President and CEO Robert Voltmann issued the following statement on the passing of OOIDA President and CEO Jim Johnson: "Jim was a fixture within the transportation industry. From truck driver, to starting an association, to become the voice of owner operators and independent drivers, Jim was a force to be reckoned with. As the representative of the brokerage industry, I had many opportunities to work with Jim. I always found him to be fair, straightforward, and a worthy advocate for his members.
